This café is fantastic. The owner, Chris, is so friendly, knowledgeable and speaks great English. The coffee was delicious but the highlight for us was the delicious Basque cheesecake. Chris was very generous with his time with us and made us feel very welcome and at home. We highly recommend this great café!

Chanced upon Cafe Kukan while I was walking around Busan Station on Saturday evening. It’s a lovely cosy little cafe next to a beautiful church. Two storey seating, with the top floor offering window seats overlooking a green space and tatami style seating (you have to take off your shoes). The owner is fluent in English, plus the place takes Apple Pay (!!!) - so this cafe is very foreigner friendly. I got the Fairtrade Siphon, which was made right in front of me at my table along with an elaborate explanation of the background of coffee culture in Korea. The owner is super passionate about coffee, and very generous with his knowledge and time. I wish I had the stomach space to try the cheesecakes too - but hey that’s for another visit! I had a really good, relaxing time in this cafe. Thank you for the tips on Vietnam Air. Hope you visit Singapore again soon and feel free to reach out if you’re in my part of the world!

Spent a great afternoon in Kukan 空間Café. The staff is very friendly and the coffee is top notch. You can also accompany your drinks with one of the homemade cakes that contain no additives so you can enjoy the sweet desert without hurting your health. Overall an amazing place to recharge your batteries and enjoy the day.

Had the original cheesecake and green tea version as well. Could have been softer in the middle but overall was nice as it was handmade and gluten free!

The shopkeeper is so kind and fluent in english. He introduced a lot of content in menu for the first time visiting customers, that would be so nice to the coffee lover like me. It is hard to find syphon in Busan, so it will be the must visit place when next time I come to Busan again.
